Starting from research done by her father in the 1960s, Diana has written a unique book about two people, Mary and Isaac Burch. Her father billed their sensational divorce as "the divorce that changed the Union".

This book is an in-depth look at a divorce trial that has ramifications to this day. Not only American history was impacted, but the history of Europe, and possibly the world, was changed.
